Founded by Stephen, a devoted dog lover who swapped the world of finance in the UK for a life dedicated to caring for our four-legged friends in Australia, The Barking Brit is all about providing exceptional dog walking services with a personal touch.
Stephen’s passion for dogs runs deep—he’s a former Trustee for the RSPCA and spent time fostering dogs in the UK before making the move Down Under. Now based in Australia, he’s furthering his expertise by studying for a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training with Hanrob College. With this knowledge, he ensures every dog in his care is not only exercised but also mentally stimulated and happy.
Safety and comfort are top priorities at The Barking Brit. Stephen is fully insured, police-checked, and transports pups in style with his spacious, fully air conditioned, VW Transporter van.

Services and Pricing
At The Barking Brit, we believe that a happy, well-balanced dog thrives on socialisation, which is why we walk in small groups—never more than four dogs. This allows for safe, positive interactions while ensuring each pup gets the attention they deserve.
Using positive reinforcement training throughout our walks, we reinforce good recall and obedience, making every outing both fun and beneficial for your dog’s development. We don’t just stick to the nearest park—we explore a variety of beautiful parks and beaches, tailoring each walk to your dog's unique personality. Whether they love chasing balls, a leisurely sniffari, or even a refreshing swim, we make sure every adventure suits their preferences.
We are careful to make sure your pup is always in compatible company, creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience. While we adore all dogs, we can only accommodate friendly, well-socialised pups. Give your dog the enriching, exciting walks they deserve with The Barking Brit!
Small Group Dog Walk $35
1 Hour at the park or beach, plus pick up and drop off time. Dogs are typically out for 1.5 - 2hrs.
Additional Dog (Same Household) $25
'Daycare' - 2 Consecutive Walks $60
After their first walk your pup then rides in the fully air conditioned van whilst we drop off their buddies and pick up the next pack, for another 1 hour walk. Typically dogs are out for 3-4 hours.
